BVM (USN) Conducts Interactive Career Counselling Session
BVM, USN made its mark by conducting an enlightening Interactive Career Counselling Session today. It was a fruitful initiative to take students through a thorough process of evaluation of the skills, interest, personality and aptitude. The event started with the lamp lightening ceremony by the alumni and their parents, accompanied by the Principal.  The objective of the session was to provide a platform to the students and parents to explore and choose from a plethora of lucrative career options available in the field of Science and Technology, Commerce, Computer and IT sector, Fitness World and Sport Sector, Language etc. after X and XII. Mr. Garry Agnihotri, Mr. Rakesh Shukla& Mrs. Seema Gupta apprised the students and parents with the diverse career options in Science stream. Mrs. Ranju Mangal & Mrs. Jyoti Garg from the Commerce Department took everyone through a paradigm on the subject of the choice of career in today’s time. Mrs. Gurjit Kaur hosted the event & Mrs. Manjula Sharma awared the august gathering about the code of conduct of the school.
‘Students of today are the visionaries and torch-bearers of tomorrow, when their personality, skill and mind is developed along with imbibing leadership qualities’. The auspicious Investiture Ceremony for the Session 2019-2020 was also the part of today’s Session. Uday Jain and Shrishti were adorned with the title of Head Boy and Head Girl of the school respectively. Chahatpreet, Riya Dawar, Hitesh and Himanshu managed to grab the position of Captains of the four houses of the school. Amisha, Dolly, Simran Khera and Bhumika of class IX were selected as the Vice Captains. Mohit Singh Rawat was honored as the Sports Captain. The solemn occasion prevailed as the badges were pinned up by the Principal. All the members of newly elected senate of the school pledged to uphold the values of the school and discharge their duties honestly and impartially. Proud BVM Alumni Mr. Raghu Gulati and Mr. Vinay Jain shared their memorable experiences of their alma mater. Mr. Pawan Malik, parent of a school student also emphasized on the need of the hour that students should make a right choice of career at the right time i.e. while pursuing their studies in XI & XII.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi motivated the students to create their better version by working on their personality and skills. The session culminated with the vote of thanks and Vande Matram.
